Ok, I know it's February, but bear with me...
I've been hanging on to this burgundy yarn for over a year waiting for the perfect project. I even made myself a sweater with it, hated it, and ended up tearing it apart.
The story is that I bought this from an older vendor at the Bostanli Pazar in Izmir, Turkey. He sells the most beautiful yarns you've ever seen, but he's "retiring" of sorts - shutting down his stand - no more yarn! :-(
So long story short, the popularity of my dog hats last year made me think that maybe I could try just one version with my fancy yarn. And....I love it, it's like everything Christmas should be. The colors are beautiful and the yarn is so soft and sparkly.
