Summer is approaching - as is summer vacation and trips to the beach! If you're lucky enough to end up at a beach where shells are beautiful and plentiful, you'll end up with oodles of seashells after your trip. But not all beaches are so plentiful. Sometimes all you can find are small, cracked, or let's just say it, ugly little shells that you know you'll never look at again in your life. So you try to swallow your disappointment, pass them by, and come home empty handed. Or if you're like me, you end up with three buckets full of them because your kids simply could not let such amazing treasures lay there on the sand.
This craft was pretty much designed to salvage those unwanted or broken shells and use them preserve your vacation memories. I wrote out a tutorial and designed 6 different templates with color guide to help you create mosaic style shell art like hte collages in the photos. The tutorial can be found here:https://www.etsy.com/listing/243110825/shell-art-tutorial-diy-mosaic-shell-art
Even if you don't need the tutorial, I hope you find inspiration from my creations and enjoy the project! If you give it a try I would love to see your art, so feel free to post a link in the comments. And if you love this project but are NOT the crafty sort, I have these listed in my Etsy shop.
